As our name suggests, Spectrum provides a broad range of interior design services for both residential and commercial clients. Now in our 28th year, we have the professional knowledge and staff to create the interior you desire. Our team guides each client through the design process approaching every project individually- desiring to create an interior space that truly reflects and serves your lifestyle. We bring the clean lines of classic design to your home by combining the finest fabrics and furnishings with unusual textures and finishes. The Spectrum team translates these raw materials into a distinctive, timeless environment of understated elegance and charm. Spectrum’s work has been featured in numerous design books as well as national and international publications such as Interior Design Magazine, Florida Design, Veranda, Metropolitan Home and Southern Accents, Coastal Living and British House & Garden.

Susan Schuyler Smith, ASID, ID-00002, is President and Founder of Spectrum Interior Design. Susan graduated with honors from the University of Florida’s College of Architecture and Fine Arts. She has received many accolades over the years including a “Presidential Citation for Distinguished Service” from the American Society of Interior Designers in 1993. She was awarded “Designer of the Year” by the Interior Design Guild of South Florida in 1996 and received the “Distinguished Alumni Award” in 1996 from her alma mater. In 1989, Susan was appointed to the Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design by then Governor Martinez. She subsequently served as Vice-Chairman of the Board in 1991 and Chairman in 1992. |
