Bark in the Park

Saturday, Jan 9, 2021 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: Riverside Park

Category: Festivals / Family Fun

The Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County (HSVB) will once
again reclaim Riverside Park in Vero Beach and declare the day for the dogs on Saturday, January 9,
2021. The event will run from 10am to 5pm.

Bark in the Park is a free admission, family fun-fest featuring performances by the world famous
Disconnected K-9 Frisbee dogs, the equally impressive Ultimate Diving Dogs and Indian River County’s
very own amazing K-9 officers and their partners. Dogs will have an opportunity to run the always-
popular lure course and there will be food vendors, beer, merchandise booths and a Kids’ Zone.

Thousands of pet lovers attend Bark in the Park every year and everyone is welcome to bring well-
behaved dogs on a (non-retractable) leash. No admission fee is charged but donations are encouraged. All
proceeds benefit the homeless, abandoned and surrendered animals. HSVB will also have dogs available
for adoption at the event. For a list of animals currently available for adoption at the Humane Society visit

Due to COVID-19, Bark in the Park will be run according to official government and local authority
guidance. Wearing a face covering is strongly recommended and social distancing must be maintained at
all times, with the exception of family members residing together. The health and safety of all those in
attendance is a priority and HSVB is committed to ensuring that all are able to have a safe, hygienic and
fun experience.
