Conservation Tour

This exciting property boasts an ecologically diverse three-mile trail system for hiking, jogging or bike riding. The Lagoon Greenway is an example of a public/private cooperative developed by the Land Trust, working with Indian River County Commissioners, The Mosquito Control District and F.I.N.D. (Florida Inland Navigation District).

The tour will take participants through the newly created butterfly garden, into the hammock, through the wetlands, and onto the recently constructed boardwalk and dock for a view of the lagoon. The tour is approximately 2 hours and is an easy walk over 1.5 miles. Meet at the kiosk near the parking area. There is no need to RSVP.
