Support & Psychoeducational Group for Expectant Mothers

IRC Healthy Start is now offering a NEW support and psychoeducational group for expectant mothers.

This support group will be every Wednesday at 12 in our Johns Island Community Room.

We know that pregnancy can be an exciting but also isolating time. We know that self-care and community are integrally important to your physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
Join our small group of other expectant mamas for this nine-week
series.

Together we will check in on each other, discuss pregnancy-related
topics, and end with a guided meditation or visualization.
Topics include:
-Explaining the difference between PMADs symptoms vs. “typical”
perinatal distress
-Discuss PMADs’ risk factors
-Protecting your mental health
-Planning for postpartum and beyond
-Building a village of support
-Sharing birth stories
-& more.
