Press Journal Centennial Beer Celebration at Walking Tree Brewery

Everyone is invited to this community event where beer specially brewed for the Press Journal by Walking Tree Brewery will be unveiled. This local brewery and Press Journal collaborated on naming Centennial beer in honor of the newspaper's 100th birthday.

It's expected that the two beers brewed will include "Ink by the Barrel," a Schwarzbier, unique and rare black lager and "Paper by the Ton", a British golden ale.  Each beer will have a small batch separately treated with unique, local ingredients.

The newspaper was founded in 1919 on quality, impact journalism that allows the engaged community to connect, act and thrive together.  Walking Tree, founded almost three years ago, shares a similar community focus.
