FILM SCREENING AT UU VERO BEACH: BANNED TOGETHER – THE FIGHT AGAINST CENSORSHIP

Education Champions in partnership with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Vero Beach, will host a special screening of Banned Together: The Fight Against Censorship. Admission is free and open to the public.

Banned Together follows three students as they take a stand against book bans, fighting to reinstate 97 titles suddenly removed from their school libraries. The film highlights the broader national battle over book bans and curriculum censorship, revealing the personal struggles of educators, librarians, and students who refuse to be silenced.

Education Champions is a grassroots group that serves as a positive, proactive force in addressing public education issues on the local, state, and national levels, with a primary focus on K–12, while also advocating for higher education and public libraries when appropriate.
