Riverside Theatre for Kids’ Student Touring Troupe presents the beloved classic musical, Godspell JR. for one performance. Godspell is a show with music and lyrics by three-time Grammy and Academy Award-winner Stephen Schwartz and a book by John-Michael Tebelak. In the show, a group of disciples help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of scenarios, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, are employed as the story of Jesus' life is explored on stage and his messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life.
