The Vero Beach Heritage Center and Citrus Museum is proud to announce the launch of the Heritage Bluegrass Music Series, bringing high-quality, free bluegrass music to the heart of Vero Beach. This exciting new series will kick off on Saturday, October 18, 2025, with future concerts held on the third Wednesday of every month from November through May.

The inaugural concert on October 18th will feature a performance by Vero Beach's own and two time Grand Ole Opry featured artist Ian Lane and Southern Flavor. Subsequent monthly events will showcase talented bands from across Florida, including Penny Creek Band, Southern Express, True Grittz, The Flattlanders, Grateful Dawg Tribute, and culminating with IBMA Showcase band Remedy Tree, with one more artist to be announced.

"The historic Vero Beach Heritage Center is the perfect backdrop for these free concerts, and we can't wait to share the joy of bluegrass with everyone," says Leslie McKenzie, Executive Director of the Vero Beach Heritage Center.

Concerts will take place at the Vero Beach Heritage Center and Citrus Museum, located at 2140 14th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL. Doors will open at 6:00 PM, with performances from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

Following each concert, an open jam session will invite amateur bluegrass musicians and enthusiasts to join in from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

While general admission to all concerts is free, a limited number of reserved seats are available for $20. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in fundraiser 50/50 raffles during each event, with all proceeds directly benefiting area school music programs. The Heritage Bluegrass Concert Series aims to enrich the cultural landscape of Vero Beach, promote local music, and support the next generation of musicians.
