This engaging evening explores the history and conservation of sea turtles in Southeastern Florida, highlighting the challenges these federally protected animals face from the moment they hatch on local beaches. Ms. Redding will share insights from her work in sea turtle rescue, research, and community engagement, including programs that connect the public with vital conservation efforts.
Olivia Redding’s passion for sea turtle conservation began at age 12 when she witnessed her first sea turtle nest. Today, she leads rescue efforts and community programs at Coastal Connections, working to protect these remarkable animals and inspire others to safeguard their habitats.
