Treasure Coast Wind Ensemble Concert - "Lincolnshire Posy"

The Treasure Coast Wind Ensemble will present its 18th Annual Summer Concert entitled "Lincolnshire Posy." The program features "Fanfare for Brass Ensemble" by Karel Husa, "Serenade for Wind Nonet" by Katahj Copely, Theme and Fantasia by Armand Russell, Firefly by Ryan George, and Lincolnshire Posy by Percy Aldridge Grainger. The concert is free and requires no ticket though a donation would be appreciated.

The concert will be held at the Vero Beach HS Performing Arts Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13th.

Founded in 2008, the Treasure Coast Wind Ensemble is a group of approximately 53 musicians from the Space Coast, Treasure Coast, and Palm Beach areas. The ensemble is comprised of band directors, music teachers, freelance musicians, and student musicians. The ensemble’s goal is to perform an annual summer concert of all original wind music and to provide a rewarding playing experience for the musicians. The wind ensemble performs music that spans several hundred years and is drawn from the chamber wind, brass ensemble, wind orchestra, and symphonic band repertoire.
