Laura Riding Jackson

The Sebastian Area Historical Society is proud to present "Laura Riding Jackson”, presented by Susan Boyd of the Laura Riding Jackson Foundation at the North Indian River County Library, on Wednesday, February 20th, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.   Laura was born in New York and attended Cornell University.  She decided to pursue a career as a poet, and her early work was acclaimed by the “Fugitive” writers.   She wrote constantly and published many volumes of poetry.  After living in New York, England, and Majorca she eventually settled in Wabasso.

 

This presentation will be held at the North Indian River County Library at 1001 Sebastian Blvd. (CR 512) at Roseland Road in Sebastian and is open to the public.  Admission is free and refreshments will be served.  This event is not sponsored by the North Indian River County Library.
