Sunday, Jul 18, 2021 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Location: Indian River Clay

Category: Arts / Culture

Indian River Clay opens the studio on three dates in July for anyone interested in seeing the creative soup bowl production process in preparation for the 29th Annual Samaritan Center Soup Bowl fundraiser in November.

The creative process is fun to watch.

Handcrafted bowls - in traditional, whimsical, colorful and creative styles - will be sold at the November fundraiser with proceeds assisting homeless families with dependent children.

Indian River Clay Open for Public to Observe Potters at Work:

Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 10am to 6pm

Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 5pm to 9pm

Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 5pm to 9pm

Indian River Clay is making the studio and clay available to its members and local potters this summer to join in the creation of the bowls. Interested potters can contact the studio for additional information on days and times. As in previous years, clay is available, on-premises, for potters to use to create the bowls either at the studio or in their home studios.  Anyone interested in contributing to this effort with donations of time or money, go to the Indian River Clay website noted below.
