Amenities include a large playground, picnic pavilions, an event pavilion (reservation required), restrooms, boat launch, fitness trail, paved parking, fishing access, BBQ grills and pay phone. Kiwanis Hobart Park is located at 5790 77th Street. Amenities include two large picnic pavilions available for rent, children's park with playground equipment, basketball court, horseshoe pits, restrooms, shaded park with covered picnic tables, lake-side area with separate restroom and two ballfields close to the park. Hours are from 7am until sundown. For more information or to rent a pavilion, please call 772-589-9223. Rental fee is $50 for the entire day. Rental includes power, water, tables, pavilion cover and large BBQ grills.

Situated at the corner of US Highway 1 and CR512, Riverview Park is located along the shores of the Indian River and is the primary gathering point for the City of Sebastian. The park host major events and concerts such as the Annual Clam Bake Festival, Pelican Island Wildlife Festival, Sebastian Fine Arts and Music Event, the 4th of July Celebrations and the seasonal Music in the Park Concert Series. Riverview Park offers panoramic views of the River and recreational opportunities for everyone. Amenities include sand volley ball courts, picnic pavilions, and the two fishing piers.

The Indian River County Fairgrounds, located on 58th Avenue approximately a half mile South of CR510 is Indian River County’s premier event facility. The Fairgrounds consists of a total of 139 acres and three primary facilities; the Ag Pavilion, which has 28,875 sq feet under roof with clay floor and lighted for nighttime events, the Expo Pavilion that has 20,000 sq feet with concrete floor and is also lighted, and the Expo Exhibition Center that is an enclosed air conditioned 20,000 sq feet facility available for a wide range of events. Amenities include office space, a servicing area and restrooms and 17,000 sq feet of open floor space. The facility is ideal for wedding receptions, dances, trade shows and static displays, and is available on a first come basis. A minimum 25% deposit is required to secure a reservation.

Located next to the best manatee viewing spot in Indian River County, this park is best for those who love to experience nature. Golden Sands, with its long stretches of wide open sandy beach, is the starting point of the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge, a 248-acre refuge spanning 20.5 miles that is designated to protect habitat for what is the most significant area for loggerhead sea turtle nesting in the Western Hemisphere and the most significant area for green turtle nesting in North America. The park is open from 7:00 am to sunset; amenities include a playground, restroom facilities and showers, ADA beach access, paved parking and picnic pavilions. This beach is guarded daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Gifford Aquatic Center

Gifford Aquatic Center is a family oriented public swimming pool. The Center has a large walk-in activity pool and a children’s spray/play deck. The pool has a zero depth entry and the far end is only 4’6” deep. The pool is heated, there are six lanes for lap swimming, and the facility has a large multi-purpose room that is available for rentals. The facility also has a concession stand.

At this 7 ½ acre facility you’ll find all you need to keep your dog entertained and exercised. With watering facilities, sally-port entries and a small and large dog section, the park is complete with shade and picnic areas for owners. Park features separate small and large dog areas, handicap parking, drinking fountain, pond, benches, covered picnic tables, as well as a walking trail around the lake. Park is free and open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset.

Jaycee Beach is located approximately 2 miles north of the Merrill P. Barber Bridge. This beach is a favorite for families in Vero Beach. Donald MacDonald Park lies on the banks of the Sebastian River in northern Indian River County. Amenities include 29 primitive campsites (one site with electricity), an observation boardwalk, and restrooms with showers, fire pits, concrete picnic tables and the C-54 boat launch. The Park is open 365 days per year and camping availability is on a first come first serve basis. Donald MacDonald Ranger's Office also has a Multipurpose Room available for rentals. Sebastian Inlet State Park

Located approximately 7 miles north of CR 510, Sebastian Inlet State Park is one of the most popular state parks in the southeast and offers some of the best surfing on the East Coast, boasting one of the most consistent breaks in Florida. Check surf cam here. This park also is a favorite for anglers nationwide who catch snook, redfish, bluefish and Spanish mackerel from its jetties. Other favorite activities include swimming scuba diving snorkeling shelling and sunbathing. Amenities include picnic pavilions, walking trails, fishing pier, campground, boat ramp, ADA beach access, restrooms and showers. Beach wheelchairs are available upon request. This Park has an entrance fee.
