Public Beaches in Vero Beach and Sebastian
Golden Sands

Golden Sands, with its long stretches of wide open sandy beach, is the starting point of the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge, a 248-acre refuge spanning 20.5 miles that is designated to protect habitat for what is the most significant area for loggerhead sea turtle nesting in the Western Hemisphere and the most significant area for green turtle nesting in North America. The park is open from 7:00 am to sunset; amenities include a playground, restroom facilities and showers, ADA beach access, paved parking and picnic pavilions. This beach is guarded daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Seagrape Trail Beach
8302 North A1A, Vero Beach, FL 32963Seagrape Trail Beach Access is approximately 1/2 mile south of County Road 510. This beautiful, secluded beach is a treasure hunter’s dream, many silver coins from the 1715 sunk Spanish Fleet have been recovered along this stretch of beach. Amenities include paved parking area with boardwalk access to the beach. Beach is open from sunrise to sunset. This is an unguarded beach.
Wabasso Beach

Wabasso Beach Park is located at the end of County Road 510 east of State Road A1A. This beach is a favorite for local surfers and treasure hunters alike. Amenities include restroom facilities, boardwalk, ADA beach access, picnic pavilions, paved parking and showers. Hours are from 7:00 am until sunset. Lifeguards are on duty from 9am - 5pm.
Sexton Plaza Beach
1050 Beachland Blvd, Vero Beach, FL 32963Located at the end of Beachland Blvd, Sexton Plaza is one of the best places to catch a sunrise in Vero Beach. Sandwiched between two Vero restaurants and situated in the heart of Vero's Beachside Shopping District, locals enjoy stopping by the beach to enjoy the view and just relax. This beach is open from sunrise to sunset. This is an unguarded beach.
Ambersand Beach
12566 North A1A, Vero Beach, FL 32963Ambersand Beach is a quiet, out of the way beach located approximately six miles north of County Road 510. The Beach access is within the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge, a 248-acre refuge spanning 20.5 miles that is designated to protect habitat for what is the most significant area for loggerhead sea turtle nesting in the Western Hemisphere and the most significant area for green turtle nesting in North America. Amenities include an unpaved parking area and boardwalk access to the beach. Hours are from 7:00 am until sunset. This is an unguarded beach.

Jaycee Beach

Jaycee Beach is located approximately 2 miles north of the Merrill P. Barber Bridge. This beach is a favorite for families in Vero Beach. Wide open spaces and plenty of facilities make for a perfect place to have a picnic, party, or just a fun day at the beach. Amenities include paved parking, a park with wide open space, playset, covered pavilions, boardwalk, restrooms, showers, and sand volleyball courts. Hours are from sunrise to sunset. Lifeguards are on duty from 9:20 am to 4:40pm.
Sebastian Inlet State Park

Located approximately 7 miles north of CR 510, Sebastian Inlet State Park is one of the most popular state parks in the southeast and offers some of the best surfing on the East Coast, boasting one of the most consistent breaks in Florida. Check surf cam here. This park also is a favorite for anglers nationwide who catch snook, redfish, bluefish and Spanish mackerel from its jetties. Other favorite activities include swimming scuba diving snorkeling shelling and sunbathing. Amenities include picnic pavilions, walking trails, fishing pier, campground, boat ramp, ADA beach access, restrooms and showers. Beach wheelchairs are available upon request. This Park has an entrance fee.
Tracking Station Beach

Tracking Station Beachfront Park entrance is located between the CVS Pharmacy and 7-11 store. This beach is a favorite of local surfers. Park hours are from sunrise to sunset. Lifeguards are on duty from 9:10 am- 4:50 pm.
Round Island Park

Round Island Oceanside Park is approximately 7.5 miles south of 17th street and A1A. Located next to the best manatee viewing spot in Indian River County, this park is best for those who love to experience nature. Enjoy a day kayaking in the Intracoastal then relaxing on the beach at Round Island Park. Amenities include restrooms, paved parking, ADA beach access, covered pavilions, and a children’s playground. Park hours are from sunrise to sunset. Lifeguards are on duty from 9:10 am – 4:50 pm.
Turtle Trail Beach
