Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge Celebration

The Pelican Island Conservation Society invites you to join us March 12-13, 2022 for the 119th birthday of the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge. President Teddy Roosevelt will join us to bring history to life and regale us with stories of how he established Pelican Island as the first federal bird reserve. Special events throughout the weekend include a wildlife display, walking tours and a few fundraising activities that require a reservation.
