Veterans and Parkinson's: A Team Approach to Living Well

Not only are veterans at an increased risk of developing Parkinson’s disease (PD), but they are also more likely to receive later diagnoses and deal with more complicated mental health challenges. In this program, we will explore the concept of a specialized care team to address the full range of PD symptoms. We will hear from Parkinson’s disease experts, including a movement disorder specialist, speech-language pathologist, physical therapist, and more. We will also hear from a VA social worker who can shed light on how to access these services through the VA Healthcare System no matter where you live.

This program is open to people with Parkinson's, their family, friends, and the community. There is no charge to attend, but registration is required.
