Remove Unwanted Invasive Plants Invasive plants are a major threat to the health and integrity of the native habitats and wildlife. They crowd out native plants that provide food and shelter. Restoration includes hand removal of non-native weeds and saplings to prevent degradation or loss of native habitat. Spend a morning collecting non-native seeds and weeding our important habitats. Equipment is provided.

Volunteers will meet at Coastal Oaks Preserve, which is located 1/2 mile north of the St. Lucie County border with Indian River County. Exact directions will be confirmed with those who register.
