Ami Brabson, Star of TV and Stage, to Perform in Vero

VERO BEACH — Ami Brabson, award-winning actress, singer, and producer, will perform a one-woman cabaret, PHENOMENAL WOMEN, at 3pm Sunday, March 19, in the Emerson Center. Her performance is a fundraiser for the American Association of University Women (AAUW), and all proceeds go toward scholarships to women and girls in Indian River County.

PHENOMENAL WOMEN is a dramatic musical celebration of wisdom gained on the winding path to finding the courage to speak your own, personal truth.

Winner of the Connecticut Critics’ Circle Award of Excellence for Outstanding Actress, and with television credits including Law & Order, L&O SVU, Power, Bull, and more, Ami pays tribute to the writers, singers, politicians, and family members who have motivated her along the way. She invites us to take this journey with her — and it couldn’t come at a more opportune time, as our country continues to explore issues of equity, access, race, gender and power.
