Grand Harbor College Cup

Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club is proud to bring the Vero Beach Tennis Showcase which will highlight Women’s Collegiate and Professional Tennis during two back-to-back tournaments in Vero Beach for the first time. The Grand Harbor College Cup will take place January 10-12, 2020 and will feature three top NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Teams in the Country. Competing schools include the University of Kentucky, Loyola Marymount University, and Virginia Tech. The Vero Beach International Tennis Open - A $25,000 Women’s USTA Pro Circuit Event will be held January 20-26, 2020 and will feature touring professionals on the USTA Pro Circuit and WTA Tour that are ranked from 150 to 350 in the world.

This will be the first time that Vero Beach will play host to competitive NCAA DI Women’s Tennis. University of Kentucky, Loyola Marymount University, and Virginia Tech will play Intercollegiate Tennis Association sanctioned, Dual Matches at Grand Harbor Golf & Beach Club Friday-Sunday, January 10-12, 2020. University of Kentucky, representing the Southeastern Conference, is currently ranked Number 27 in the Oracle ITA Team Rankings. In 2019, the Wildcats reached the second round of the NCAA Women’s Tennis Championships where they fell to the University of Michigan. Loyola Marymount University, representing the West Coast Conference, is currently ranked Number 59 in the Oracle ITA Team Rankings. 2019 saw the Lions reach the semi-finals of the WCC Tournament where they were beaten by eventual Champions and NCAA quarterfinalists, Pepperdine. Virginia Tech, representing the Atlantic Coast Conference, reached the second round of the 2019 ACC Tournament after the Hokies upset the Clemson Tigers.

Tickets for the Grand Harbor College Cup are $10 for a Daily Pass and $25 for a Weekend Pass which includes all three days of the event.
