Join the Environmental Learning Center for the latest workshop series all about navigating by the stars.
Through the 4 weeks, participants will be learning how to use a sextant, read the Nautical Almanac, take noon sights and reduce a sight.
Participants will also be building their own sextants to take home.
Classes are Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30
The class fee is $125 and covers all 4 workshops, a planisphere and a DIY sextant Kit.
Bug Spray is encouraged.
