Ed Metz Trio

Ed Metz Trio - Saturday, January 27, 2018, 12:30 p.m. - at the Vero Beach Heritage Center, 2140 14th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960 The Ed Metz Trio is comprised of three of our favorite jazz veterans: Drummer Eddie Metz, has played with a host of famous musicians, including Count Basie, Clark Terry, and Woody Herman; Aussie premier bassist and jazz vocalist Nicki Parrott has performed with Les Paul, John and Bucky Pizzarelli and many other notable musicians; and Italian award-winning pianist Rossano Sportiello, is an international star who has been touted as one of “the best stride piano players ever". For the 2018 season, we will hold our Jazz at the Heritage Center, 2140 14th Avenue, Vero Beach and at The Plaza, 884 17th Street, Vero Beach. For the Jazz at Noon Concerts the doors open at 11:15 am, concerts start at 12:30 pm and run until about 3:00 pm with one intermission. The venue for The John Depaola Quintet concert on Saturday April 14 will be at The Plaza on 17th Street. **A buffet will be available for all concerts. Reservations are required for each buffet. If you would like lunch, please call the office prior to the concert at 772-234-4600.** Members may also purchase reserved seats for the entire season. Our members are people who love good music, including melodic and swinging jazz. While our artists include a variety of styles and instrumentation, we generally feature mainstream jazz as represented by the music of the great songwriters (Berlin, Porter, Rogers, Mercer - to name a few) -- as well as many jazz classics and originals. We present outstanding musicians playing traditional jazz and Great American Songbook selections.
