Lisa Kelly/JBScott with Dave Steinmeyer - Saturday, March 17, 2018, 12:30 p.m. - at the Vero Heritage Center, 2140 14th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960 First performing together at the 1997 Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, vocalist Lisa Kelly and trumpeter JB Scott have enjoyed a long and successful musical partnership. The Lisa Kelly and JB Scott Sextet (KellyScottMusic.com) features six musicians who have played across the country and around the world. Kelly and Scott's numerous performances have included the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, Festival Vien Jazz Festival in Austria, North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands, Monterey Jazz Festival in California and numerous other international and national venues. As highly respected musical artists, clinicians and mentoring teachers, eight-time Downbeat Magazine (voice, composing, arranging) award winner Lisa Kelly and former Director of the Dukes of Dixieland JB Scott have enjoyed great success on the jazz scene. For the 2018 season, we will hold our Jazz at the Heritage Center, 2140 14th Avenue, Vero Beach and at The Plaza, 884 17th Street, Vero Beach. For the Jazz at Noon Concerts the doors open at 11:15 am, concerts start at 12:30 pm and run until about 3:00 pm with one intermission. The venue for The John Depaola Quintet concert on Saturday April 14 will be at The Plaza on 17th Street. **A buffet will be available for all concerts. Reservations are required for each buffet. If you would like lunch, please call the office prior to the concert at 772-234-4600.** Members may also purchase reserved seats for the entire season. Our members are people who love good music, including melodic and swinging jazz. While our artists include a variety of styles and instrumentation, we generally feature mainstream jazz as represented by the music of the great songwriters (Berlin, Porter, Rogers, Mercer - to name a few) -- as well as many jazz classics and originals. We present outstanding musicians playing traditional jazz and Great American Songbook selections.
