First Timers Paddle Board LessonEvent Dates: 03-17-2018 to 03-17-2018
Always wanted to learn how to paddle board? Here’s your chance! Learn to paddle board from the only American Canoe Association certified instructors in Vero Beach. Why does learning from an ACA (American Canoe Association) certified instructor matter? Well, all ACA instructors go through the toughest certification in the industry, and not everyone who takes it passes to become an instructor. Their training focuses on how to teach proper paddling technique, as well as navigation, weather conditions, and how to lead a group. It’s the gold standard for paddle sports instruction. The ACA also advises the Coast Guard on paddle sports, and is a governing body for Olympic paddle sports. They literally wrote the book. What’s that mean for you? This means you’ll have the best instructor possible. This also means you’re going to get a lesson that will give you the best chance of being an awesome paddle boarder. The better your lesson the more likely you are to enjoy your trip and go again. Our goal is to make it so you do so well that this becomes your new favorite thing.
Where do we meet? We will meet at the marina behind the Riverside Cafe. If you need to rent a board go right to the dock. If you are bringing your own, launch from the park (McWilliam Boat Ramp) on the other side of the Barber Bridge, and paddle to the dock to meet the group. How Much? It’s $40 for a board rental with lesson and instructor, $15 if you bring your own. You can book online at our website, or you can call or email to reserve your spot.
