HabiTrot and Realtors ‘Hop for Habitat’ 5K Run/Walk
Event Dates: 12-21-2017 to 03-31-2018The Realtors Association of Indian River County (RAIRC) and the HabiTrot Committee are joining forces once again to raise funds to help provide affordable homeownership opportunities for working families in Indian River County.
This year, you are invited to put on your running shoes, bunny ears or Easter bonnet for the HabiTrot and Realtors ‘Hop for Habitat’ 5K Run/Walk to be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the South Beach Park. An annual event held every year, the 5K Run/Walk promises to be a great morning of fun for the whole family and out of town visitors.
A Bunny Hop for Kids will start at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 8:00 a.m. The 5K course takes you down to a flat and fast course that goes through scenic Vero Beach neighborhoods.
Entry Fees are $30 per person in advance and $35 the day of the race. Registration for the Kids’ Bunny Hop is $10 per child. Register soon because the first 125 registrants will receive a T-shirt.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
Runners: Top 3 Male/Female Overall and Overall Masters
Walkers: Top 3 Overall Finishers
Participants may register online at www.runvero.com or at www.irchabitat.org. You can also register by printing out the online registration form and mailing it with a check payable to RAIRC, 3250 67th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32967.

Proceeds will benefit Indian River Habitat’s affordable homeownership program. Founded in 1991, Indian River Habitat for Humanity has served and given a hand up to 813 families in Indian River County. A top Habitat affiliate, Indian River Habitat is in its second year of a 500 families served in five years campaign.
