Pianist Leslie Amper returns to the Vero Beach Museum of Art for a unique multimedia performance, offering insights into the profound musical influences on the artists featured in the exhibition French Moderns: Monet to Matisse, 1850-1950. Ms. Amper expertly combines live piano music—including works by Debussy and Ravel, and compositions from Hungary, Russia, and Britain—with visual art and insightful commentary. Highlights include a special focus on pieces that reflect the moods of water-themed paintings, providing an experience that bridges visual art and music.
