Each January, February and March, Vero Beach Opera launches a brief, but herculean season of top-quality opera.  All performances are at the Vero Beach High School Performing Arts Center, located at 1707 16th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Vero Beach Opera Members get special access to artists and after-parties. They also enjoy music all year round at the MEMBERS ONLY PARLOR CONCERTS.

The non-profit opera company’s creative team, Board members and volunteers work year-round cultivating the best talent worldwide and the necessary funding, and then mount:

• A full-scale Opera with an orchestra in January
• An exceptional, themed Concert in February
• A three-day Opera Festival (vocal competition and concert) featuring young MET Opera Laffont Audition finalists in March.

Many are involved in the entire process, and at the center is Russell Franks, Artistic Director; Román Ortega-Cowan, Artistic Advisor; and Dr. Joan Ortega-Cowan, President.

Out-of-town Artists stay at the homes of gracious Vero Beach Opera Homestay volunteer hosts, and with hotel partners Caribbean Court, Hampton Inn and Costa d’este.
