The Mental Health Association in Indian River County Walk-In Center provides immediate access to mental health screenings and crisis intervention services to IRC residents of all ages at no charge.
-The MHA provides immediate access to mental health screening, crisis intervention, immediate case management, and information/referrals.
-Services by appointment include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual psychotherapy, family psychotherapy, and group therapy services.
-The MHA operates three "Drop-In" centers for those recovering from mental illness and a free I.D. registration program for people who to tend to wander and/or become disoriented. The peer run DIC offers its members socialization and recreation, art and music therapy, computer accessibility and off campus field trips. The DIC's are open 365 days a year.
No Appointment Necessary...just walk in. It's OK to get help!
