Music Angels endeavor to provide weekly music lessons for 4 students for a 6 month to one-year period. Participation requires that students attend at least 80% of their lessons, commit to practicing at home, and maintain their performance in school (grades/behavior). The goal is for the scholarship recipients to gain/improve in their musical abilities, knowledge of instrument, sight reading, scales, posture, tempo, etc. 

These students will aspire to display their newly acquired musical skills to audiences in the community. The goals of public musical performances are: 1) To provide young musicians with a venue for showcasing their skills, 2) To educate the public about our music programs for children in need so that more children are referred to the program, and 3) To raise funds so that more children gain access to music lessons.

Presently, they partner with the Homeless Children's Foundation in Vero Beach, FL for student referrals. They have also collaborated with the Youth Guidance Program, the longest operating mentoring program in our county, to provide the musical instruments needed to start their music program.

Additionally, They partner with the Gifford Youth Orchestra by engaging in a joint concert fundraiser. Collaboration with these other youth programs provides them with an opportunity to promote their scholarship program and community events, as these programs have some ties to our local school district as well as influential community leaders.
