Vote-by-Mail Ballot Requests  (formerly called Absentee Ballots) - here's how to get a ballot for yourself:

• Call the Supervisor of Elections office at (772) 226-3440 and a ballot will be mailed to you.
   
• Fill out the request form on the Supervisor of Elections website.

*Vote-by-mail requests are available for one specific election or all elections up to two general elections.  Voters do NOT have to request a ballot each election year. 

How to Get a Vote-by-Mail Ballot for Someone Else 

You may request a ballot for someone else both on the Supervisor of Elections website or over the phone (772) 226-3440.

You can pick up a Vote-by-mail ballot over the counter at the Supervisor of Elections office on behalf of someone else if you bring a letter signed by each voter that designates someone else to pick up the ballot for them.  This can only be done 4 days prior to any election.
