Boating is fun. We will show you how!
The Vero Beach Power Squadron (VBPS) is a boating organization. They are one of the 400+ squadrons of the United States Power Squadron (USPS) ® and are part of District 8 which covers the East Coast of Florida from Sebastian Inlet to Key West.
The VBPS is located at 301 Acacia Road, Vero Beach, FL. They are a non-profit group. Most of the activity is organized by the numerous voluteers and the action takes place at the squadron building located in Mac Williams Park boat basin on the Indian River.
There are many opportunities to give back to the community. We provide support to Homelss Family Center, The Source, Indian River Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, Youth Sailing Foundation, Sheriffs Department, to name a few.
There numerous groups within the squadron to have fun with - biking, golf, fishing, movie and paddle. There are numerous events/activities that keep the members busy througout the year, which are posted on the online calendar.
You do not need to own a boat to become a member.
