Reviews For The Source

Building Community For All

The Source is a wonderful place for those less fortunate. They provide laundry, showers, meals, overnight shelter, and employment opportunities. Anyone can come for these services as there are no barriers to receiving them. Members can perform light chores and receive "Source Bucks" that can be redeemed for groceries, gasoline, bicycles, movie passes, and other items. Members congregate and have a sense of community, which is something we all need.

“The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.” - Barack Obama. Thank you to The Source for being a symbol of Hope for our community, for standing out and doing things differently than everyone else, and for making a real difference in people's lives everyday.

The Source is a great place . They offer a tremendous amount of services for the public including a new bus where students who are in a learning environment during the day and they then sleep on the dignity bus at night. Our leader Mr Zorbaugh is a tremendous person who leads by example and who generally cares about the people who come here on a daily basis. Im an employee who likes my job at the source very much. To God be the glory and may i set an example of how a Christian man should carry himself on a day to day basis at the Source ! Thank you Anthony Phillips.

After some bad luck, and a few bad decisions, I found myself homeless and sleeping in a tent. Something I never would have thought could happen to me. My 7-year-old son was in Michigan and I had no idea how I would begin the journey to getting my life back together. Tony and Rob told me something that I will never forget, "We will do anything for you, but, we will not do everything for you". They told me that if I found a place to go and would contribute around the facility, i.e., cleaning up after meals, do dishes, cleaning the bathrooms, etc., they would help me. I took their advice and began helping and making phone calls. About two weeks later, I found a place to go to be close to my son, and the same day I was accepted to go to recovery housing, Tony and Rob presented me with a ticket during dinner. That was 20 months ago! I am still clean and sober, I am now a certified recovery coach, I have a good job and a little two bedroom house, and in August I go to court to regain custody of my son. I thank the Lord everyday for Tony, Rob, and everyone who made The Source possible. God Bless
