Vero Beach Yoga Barre, a peaceful yoga and barre studio on Royal Palm Pointe, began as a culmination of two girls' passion, brought together by their friendship. When Carly was 16, she found herself in Amanda's yoga class at Quail Valley. She was an avid tennis player and needed some relief in her tight shoulders and hips. Amanda introduced yoga to Carly in a way that made it seem something like she hadn't imagined. Years later, Carly found herself in Amanda's classes every chance she could get leading yoga to become an essential part of her lifestyle and taking a 200hr Power Vinyasa Training with Charleston Power Yoga. As fate would have it, after college graduation Carly found herself wanting to open a studio in Vero with the one person who inspired her yoga practice.
Amanda found herself in a 200hr Ashtanga Teacher Training the summer of 2008. She was going through a stressful time and would frequent a local gym for yoga. She would enter the class being frustrated and stressed, and she would leave feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. That's when she knew she wanted to learn more about Yoga. The training she did at One Yoga Planet in Fort Pierce changed her life. She knew she finally found her calling. In 2013 she completed the 500hr Advanced Ashtanga Training once again at One Yoga Planet.
Both girls, never owning a business before, were up for the challenge when their doors opened in May 2015. As you enter the studio, you are greeted by Carly and/or Amanda or another teacher from the studio. The industrial space has two rooms, one being the main studio with a beautiful cork floor and the other, a retail space fillled with athleisure appearal. The studio welcomes all levels of practioners and invites you to become part of a warm, loving community. Most of all finding a place to simply be at Vero Beach Yoga Barre!
