Specialized Schools

Built in 1925, historic Wabasso School is the only school in the Indian River County School District, that is located directly on US1. Nestled among orange groves on 8 acres, this school provides a peaceful setting for students and faculty alike.

Virtual instruction is defined as instruction provided in an interactive learning environment created through technology in which the student and teacher are separated by time, space or both. Students residing within Indian River County have several choices for participating in virtual education programs.
