The Town of Indian River Shores consists primarily of low-density, gated residential communities. Approximately 4,000 year-round residents enjoy our semi-tropical climate, with that figure nearly doubling during the winter months.
Indian River Shores provides its own law enforcement, fire protection and emergency medical services through its well-regarded Public Safety Department. A Postal and Community Center are other services residents and neighbors enjoy.
